About Castledon Greyhound Rescue ...

Castledon Greyhound Rescue provides a sanctuary & re-homing service for Greyhounds in need in the UK. Greyhounds come to the kennels as retired racers, as strays, and from owners who give up their dogs due to changing life circumstances such as: relocation, financial hardship, divorce, illness, or death.

Castledon was set up by Jodie and Sandra in 1997 in Wickford, Essex.  The kennel is a non-profit setup and relies heavily on public donations to continue saving and rehoming Greyhounds.

Further information on the kennels can be found at their website http://www.greyhoundrescueuk.co.uk/
